Cristina Chacon Studio Gallery is proud to present the first exhibition of 2010 “DECADE”. Featuring works by Bob Brown, MDuffo, William Braemer, Global Art Beat, Dziembowska and Cristina Chacon.
Bob Brown: Born in Havana Cuba in 1949, of Irish, English and Cuban ancestors, Bob has lived in Miami since 1960. Employing a hardedge style with clear sharp color to color edges, economy of form and geometric shapes allow bold creative designs to emerge from the canvas.
MDuffo: Born in 1965 and raised in Colombia, South America. Self taught, the commercial success of his initial paintings afforded him the luxury of a later education at the school of Bellas Artes in Cartagena, Colombia. Billy Monsalve Duffo’s art has now been spreading around the world for more than two decades.
William Braemer‘s artwork is the consequence of an amazing life experience and a personality that hungers for rich tasting adventures. Like a slow brewing, rich tasting stew, William’s artwork is peppered with valiant colors, rich strokes and tempting themes.
Global Art Beat Gallery with artists that were born in Cuba and reside now in Europe. Commonly introspective in their works, while reflecting the beauty of dereliction and the consciousness of a youthful populace mixed from Spanish and African slave ancestry.
Olga Dziembowska was born in Poland in 1977. A theme that often seems to creep into the works of Olga Dziembowska is the presence of animals. This is perhaps not coincidental as she places high value on animals and also do fear the disruption that human presence has on our world and nature.
Cristina Chacon is the Artist in Residence at Cristina Chacon Studio Gallery. She is a contemporary artist who was born in Colombia. Her work is plenty of abundance and full of colors and texture but simple and clean in the concept.
